Appointments

  • Initial consultations by telephone where possible
  • Practice appointments decided by staff
  • No admission unless pre-arranged appointment
  • Clients required to wear facemask to enter consultation with pet

Prescriptions / Medication

  • Medications (incl Flea & Worming Products)
  • Sent by post where possible
  • Repeat prescriptions, please call the practice a minimum of 2 days prior

Limiting Contact

  • No home visits
  • Pre-arranged appointments only
  • Maximum of 2 in the waiting area
  • Medication handover at front door
  • Social distancing

All clients will be required to wear their own appropriate face mask to enter with their pets. This is to ensure safety for clients and staff in-line with current government guidelines, while ensuring the best possible clinical care for your pets.

Payments will be required over the phone where possible to minimise contact and improve the safety for yourself and our team.

If you have any general enquiries about the practice, treatments or your pet please email us (including your name, pets name, and postcode) in the first instance and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

If you have any concerns about the health and safety of your pet or queries regarding active medication please call the team.

27/06/2020 Update to Services and practice policies

Revised for the safety of clients and staff

In line with advice from the government and the BVA we are now able to extend our services beyond emergency treatment and are moving towards offering a more normal service. 

We are happy to confirm that we are taking on new registrations and that neutering, vaccinations, and dental procedures are available for both new and existing clients.

While the pandemic endures, we will be working in smaller teams so it will be necessary to prioritise cases and minimise contact to safeguard both our clients and staff while ensuring your pet receives the treatment they required.

We therefore request that you contact the surgery to discuss your pet’s needs and, if required, organise a suitable appointment time.

Please bear with our staff who are working very hard to answer all calls and emails but may not always be able to answer as quickly as usual because of the smaller teams.

Clients will now be required to wear their own appropriate face mask to enter consultations with their pets. Maintaining the maximum possible social distancing for the situation still applies. This is to ensure the safety of clients and staff in-line with current government guidelines while ensuring the best possible clinical cate for your pets.
